Participation, Dues, etc.

(Top)

A volunteer chorus, to be successful, requires full participation in all scheduled concerts and rehearsals. Your active membership in the PFC is expected to be for the entire season, not just for one or two events.

The Dues this year will total $100; with $50 due in September and $50 due when rehearsals resume after the Christmas holidays. If this poses a financial hardship for you, please compete the waiver form and submit it to a Board member.

Black Performance Folder is required. It can be either the "Deluxe Black Folder" or the "Choralex Compact". They may be purchased from www.musicfolder.com (phone 1-877-246-7253 (toll-free)

Concert Dress

(Top)

In line with our desire to present more professional appearance in concerts, there have been some changes in our standard concert dress:

Men - Black tuxedo with black bow tie, white shirt, black socks, black shoes; no vest, black cummerbund optional.

Women - Plain long-sleeved black top and long skirt or similar plain black dress (no lace, pattern, etc), black stockings and shoes.

Again, if you have questions, or if this poses a financial hardship, please talk to Cyndy or Meredith, and we should be able to resolve the situation.

Music

(Top)

Your music must be purchased separately. However, if you own, or have access to the correct scores, they may be used. (If you have sung with us previously, you probably already own many of the pieces we will be performing with the Plymouth Philharmonic for the Christmas POPS.) No photocopied music will be allowed (unless it is provided in that form by the PFC).

If you have any questions about whether you have the proper music, please talk to the Music Director.
